Well, it's been almost another month since I last blogged!!
Tomorrow is June 1st and it's 4 days until our family
vacation. It is really hard getting everyone
together because of so many different schedules..
It's been a challenge getting everyone together
this year. However, I am looking forward to
many more vacations together as our family grows and we
have lots and lots of Grandbabies!!

I am looking forward to fun, pictures and fellowship with
my family and hubby. He definantly needs the break from
work. His work-life has been so stressful lately. Please
say a pray that it will get better.
Levi and Ashley have got there mobile home set-up and
are not far from getting to move in. The rain has held them
up.
Nothing new to report with me at my job. We have 3 ladies
expecting with the first one due in July. My life is really
fixing to get hectic with schedules.

HOWDY!!!

It's been a while since I last blogged.
Not to much has been going on in my life here lately.
I am at least not sick these days. I hope I never get
sick with the flu again as long as the Lord lets me live!!

Darryl and I went camping last week and had a good time
however, everytime we go camping it seems to come a storm
or rain like crazy. We went from Wednesday to Saturday and
it stormed Friday and Saturday afternoon. I said okay enough
and DArryl packed everything up with my help and we come
home Saturday afternoon.
We didn't even get to enjoy the boat or anything. We did have
Callie down to the campground on Thursday and she was alot
of fun while she was there.
She repeated everything that I ask her to say and she was so
cute about it. She wanted to play with the "gooses" I know that
is not proper english but at least she knew what they where.
We had a blast until mom came to pick her up.
We hope to get to go at least a couple more times this year and
maybe next year we can up grade to a bigger camper and not be
so worried when storms come.

Well Sunday is Mother's Day and I hope for all those who read my
blog that you will have a wonderful day because you earned the
title of Mother's Day!!

Pray Request!!

Well this is about 1 week later!

I'm still feeling pretty good and enjoying my workouts!!
I've still got some congestion in my sinuses, but
I feel so much more like myself.

I have a pray request from anyone who reads my
blog. I have just found out that my co-worker's
nephew and wife has lost there baby. His wife was 37 weeks
pregnant and they can't find the baby's heart beat. She
not only has to have the baby, they also have to have
it's funeral. Oh my goodness! there are no words to
describe the sadness I feel in my heart for this family.
Brittany knows them both from high school and college and
was even room-mates with his the wife while in college.
Just remember them all when you pray!!
Only God knows why this had to happen. Pray
that God will give them the strength they need
over the coming days to cope with there loss.

Wednesday 25th and better!!

Well, I'm finally feeling better after almost 2 weeks of being sick!!
My day has went mostly without feeling bad at all. I lost about
10 pounds over past week and now I've got to work to keep it off.
I've joined the fitness caravan and joined Curves. I'm so excited and
I'm really enjoying the workouts!

I finally have a name Callie calls me Gran ma. If you could see her call me
gran ma you would love it too!! She is so cute and she always has to say
Pa also. It's like she knows we are together and she got to say both names
at the same time.
She is just too cute!!
Darryl is also feeling better these days. We were sick at the same time and
I'm so glad he is feeling better also.

Please pray for me on Friday. I've volunteered to go to the high school and
do a class on how to maintain a checking account. I need all the prayers I
can get. I've never worked much with older children only little ones.

Oh well, I do hope this day has held blessings galore and you always know
the love the Lord has for YOU!!

Sick!

Hey everyone,
I haven't blogged in days or maybe a few weeks!!
Darryl and I have been very sick for the past few days.
I went to the doctor yesterday and he said I have bronchitis
and a sinus infection. I have had Brochitis several times in my
life, but have never known myself to have a fever with it like
I have this time. The only thing that seems to help with my fever
is Alka-Seltzer cold. I have already missed 2 days of work. I really
need to get back and hopefully I will be able to tomorrow. The bad
thing is I haven't been anywhere since I got Friday evening except
to CVS, Dr Bray's and we did go by Diary queen on the way home
from CVS on Saturday.
Oh well, enough on me. I miss getting to see my girls! all my girls
including Callie. I haven't seen them since last Sunday.
Well, i'd better go I hope this makes sense because I'm drowsy
and need to lay down.

Saturday

Hey Everyone, I finally made it back to blog.
Darryl is finally home after 3 weeks of being gone.
I am very glad he is back and in the real world with
me again.
It has been a long week at work and I finally have
had a Saturday off. Working 3 Saturdays in a row
can get tiresome...
We went to see our step father-n-law today and he
is not doing very well. He is having alot of problems
with his breathing and is having to stay in intensive
care until they can get him stable.
Please remember him when you pray.
It's been a pretty day here, but we are expecting rain
and some snow tonight. Maybe it will snow a bunch
and we can all play tomorrow.
Oh well not much else to report other than i'm glad
my hubby is back home!!!

It's a stormy Wednesday!!

I'm back!!
I can't believe it's been so many days since I've last blogged!!
I'm still a farming girl these days. Darryl is still in Kentucky
if he stays much longer they will have to send him a W-2 form for
working there!!
I feel like he is never coming home!!
Well this is how my week is going-- I missed Monday feeding
the cows and oh my Lordy I didn't think I was going to get
out of the pasture yesterday. They were chasing me around
like a bunch of wild dogs or something. I gave them more feed
than usual and over feed them again today. I hope they sleep
well tonight. "The crazy things"
Other than that I'm handling things pretty well with working
and trying to keep everyone/all the animals happy.
I'm off tomorrow so I hope
to sleep late, go to town and clean "oh joy"!! I've got to work
on Saturday.
I watched a movie last night called "The secret life of Bees" it
was really a good movie with a good story line.
Well Please pray for me and Darryl that he will be home soon.

Hey everyone,
I'm still a farmer girl because Darryl is still gone
off re-building power lines. He has been gone one
week today. I'm doing better than I thought I would
be. I guess I'm just waiting for something to go totally
wrong.
Well I do have one funny thing to report...
Levi and I talked this past Saturday and he wanted to
know if I wanted him to get me up some wood. Well,
told him no. I mean NO!! that I would get it. Well,
he decided to go ahead and the horse and goat got out.
Then I tried to call Katie (I didn't get in touch with her) so
she could send Shannon over to help. Then I called Darryl and
he preceded to call David well he was no where close so Levi
managed and got Whiz and princess back up. Thankfully the horse
didn't kill him but, princess head butted him and I've never known her
to do that. Ye ha I think Levi learned real quick that the horse is more
clever than he is. Levi has been a huge help while Darryl has been
gone getting up the feed for me. I can manage pretty well without help
but getting the feed is heavy and without him putting it in the
front-end loader bucket I don't think I would be doing as well.

Other than that excitement it's just been me and the dog.
Please keep Darryl and his men in your prayers he sure does need
them after the rough day he has had.

Thursday

Hey everyone,

I tried to have a day off today since I've got to
work on Saturday, but that didn't happen.
Darryl is in Kentucky on storm trouble and I'm
having to be a farmer girl again.
I really do enjoy doing it and it's been a while since
I've really done alot outside so a little hard work
never hurt anyone.

I've got up wood, clean and straightened the basement,
blowed off the carport and back porch behind the basement,
took off the trash and fed Darryl's cows. Need I say more.
I'm tired and ready to go to bed. Hey I also washed several
loads of clothes and still cooked supper for Ashley and Levi.

Callie came to see me today and she was so upset when she
had to leave. I tried riding down the road with Brittany a
little ways, but she figured out that I was going back to my house
when we turned in the drive way and started crying again.
I love her to pieces and can't figure out why she likes
to play and stay over here.

You can ask her if she wants to go home and she says NO!!

Sunday are the best!!

Sunday is a time that I can get together with my children
and my grand baby. I usually cook lunch(Harrison's buffet)
and then we get to
visit for a few minutes because Callie is usually getting
tired around
this time and her mom and dad usually have to leave early
to take her home for nap.
Here lately, Callie has a new thing she does when it's time to go
home after preaching she is ready to get with
pa and ma-ma so she can ride in my car seat to come to my
house.

She will cry so hard (big ole tears)if she thinks she's got to ride
home with her moma and daddy. I hope they don't mind?????

We love it and feels she loves us. We enjoy having her here with us
any time we can get her. She is truly a joy and the apple of our eyes!!

Then when, Brittany goes home we usually visit with Ashley for a while.
She is wanting to build a house so her and Levi can finally get out
on their own. I can't wait until they have a baby of their own!!! ??

Friday!!!

Thank goodness it is Friday!!
I finally got to see Callie today. She is getting so
big and never stops. I sure do enjoy getting to see her
and she is talking up a storm!

My day was busy and i'm glad it's over!!!

I'm thankful for the weekend and I hope I get
to go shopping over the weekend.

Keeping Callie tomorrow evening and then back
to church on Sunday to hear Darryl teach.

I really do enjoy him teaching Sunday School he
is really a good teacher.

Hair Appointment!!

Well, it's 7:51pm and I just got back from the hair salon.
My hair is dark again and not red.
She also cut my hair way to short on the sides. Oh well, I will have to deal!!
Brittany was there getting her hair cut and I hope she likes her cut.
She didn't bring Callie so I missed getting to see her.

One more day of work and i'm off til Monday. It's been a long week to
have been off on Monday. It should be an interesting day tomorrow.

I have a couple of friends I would like everyone to pray for. I can't talk
about what is going on, but they need your prayers.

It sure has been cold!!

Well, this is my 2nd day blogging. I wonder how many of you noticed that I was testing everyone just to see who responded about the way I spelled "grammer" guess what I do know how to spell "grammar" after all. However, you may catch me spelling other words wrong for real in the future.


Oh well, if I do I'm not perfect and have never claimed to be. I'm just having fun learning something new with this crazy blog. If only I could learn how to put pictures on it. I will continue working with it and maybe one day you can view some of the pictures that I love to take. I think I missed my calling being a photographer. I could go crazy spending money on camera equipment.

Inauguration day 2009

Hey everyone,
This is my first post of 2009.
I thought it was time I jumped on the band wagon of everyone else who is blogging these days.
Well it is 650pm and Barack Obama has made his way to the White House!!!
I guess that is all that happened important today at least to some folks anyway.
I hope and pray that it is the best thing for our country but only time will tell.

Darryl and I are sitting here talking about the economy with nothing new to tell that you all probably don't already know.

Yesterday was a sweet day. I got to see both my children and in-law children along with my grandbaby. She is growing so fast and is already 34inches tall and only 19months old.

I have such a sweet family and am so thankful for all of them. God is so good!!

I hope you enjoy reading my blog and will bring more and exciting things as the weeks progress.
