20 + days later!!

Pray Request!!

Well this is about 1 week later!

I'm still feeling pretty good and enjoying my workouts!!
I've still got some congestion in my sinuses, but
I feel so much more like myself.

I have a pray request from anyone who reads my
blog. I have just found out that my co-worker's
nephew and wife has lost there baby. His wife was 37 weeks
pregnant and they can't find the baby's heart beat. She
not only has to have the baby, they also have to have
it's funeral. Oh my goodness! there are no words to
describe the sadness I feel in my heart for this family.
Brittany knows them both from high school and college and
was even room-mates with his the wife while in college.
Just remember them all when you pray!!
Only God knows why this had to happen. Pray
that God will give them the strength they need
over the coming days to cope with there loss.

Wednesday 25th and better!!

Well, I'm finally feeling better after almost 2 weeks of being sick!!
My day has went mostly without feeling bad at all. I lost about
10 pounds over past week and now I've got to work to keep it off.
I've joined the fitness caravan and joined Curves. I'm so excited and
I'm really enjoying the workouts!

I finally have a name Callie calls me Gran ma. If you could see her call me
gran ma you would love it too!! She is so cute and she always has to say
Pa also. It's like she knows we are together and she got to say both names
at the same time.
She is just too cute!!
Darryl is also feeling better these days. We were sick at the same time and
I'm so glad he is feeling better also.

Please pray for me on Friday. I've volunteered to go to the high school and
do a class on how to maintain a checking account. I need all the prayers I
can get. I've never worked much with older children only little ones.

Oh well, I do hope this day has held blessings galore and you always know
the love the Lord has for YOU!!

Sick!

Hey everyone,
I haven't blogged in days or maybe a few weeks!!
Darryl and I have been very sick for the past few days.
I went to the doctor yesterday and he said I have bronchitis
and a sinus infection. I have had Brochitis several times in my
life, but have never known myself to have a fever with it like
I have this time. The only thing that seems to help with my fever
is Alka-Seltzer cold. I have already missed 2 days of work. I really
need to get back and hopefully I will be able to tomorrow. The bad
thing is I haven't been anywhere since I got Friday evening except
to CVS, Dr Bray's and we did go by Diary queen on the way home
from CVS on Saturday.
Oh well, enough on me. I miss getting to see my girls! all my girls
including Callie. I haven't seen them since last Sunday.
Well, i'd better go I hope this makes sense because I'm drowsy
and need to lay down.

Saturday

Hey Everyone, I finally made it back to blog.
Darryl is finally home after 3 weeks of being gone.
I am very glad he is back and in the real world with
me again.
It has been a long week at work and I finally have
had a Saturday off. Working 3 Saturdays in a row
can get tiresome...
We went to see our step father-n-law today and he
is not doing very well. He is having alot of problems
with his breathing and is having to stay in intensive
care until they can get him stable.
Please remember him when you pray.
It's been a pretty day here, but we are expecting rain
and some snow tonight. Maybe it will snow a bunch
and we can all play tomorrow.
Oh well not much else to report other than i'm glad
my hubby is back home!!!

It's a stormy Wednesday!!

I'm back!!
I can't believe it's been so many days since I've last blogged!!
I'm still a farming girl these days. Darryl is still in Kentucky
if he stays much longer they will have to send him a W-2 form for
working there!!
I feel like he is never coming home!!
Well this is how my week is going-- I missed Monday feeding
the cows and oh my Lordy I didn't think I was going to get
out of the pasture yesterday. They were chasing me around
like a bunch of wild dogs or something. I gave them more feed
than usual and over feed them again today. I hope they sleep
well tonight. "The crazy things"
Other than that I'm handling things pretty well with working
and trying to keep everyone/all the animals happy.
I'm off tomorrow so I hope
to sleep late, go to town and clean "oh joy"!! I've got to work
on Saturday.
I watched a movie last night called "The secret life of Bees" it
was really a good movie with a good story line.
Well Please pray for me and Darryl that he will be home soon.

Hey everyone,
I'm still a farmer girl because Darryl is still gone
off re-building power lines. He has been gone one
week today. I'm doing better than I thought I would
be. I guess I'm just waiting for something to go totally
wrong.
Well I do have one funny thing to report...
Levi and I talked this past Saturday and he wanted to
know if I wanted him to get me up some wood. Well,
told him no. I mean NO!! that I would get it. Well,
he decided to go ahead and the horse and goat got out.
Then I tried to call Katie (I didn't get in touch with her) so
she could send Shannon over to help. Then I called Darryl and
he preceded to call David well he was no where close so Levi
managed and got Whiz and princess back up. Thankfully the horse
didn't kill him but, princess head butted him and I've never known her
to do that. Ye ha I think Levi learned real quick that the horse is more
clever than he is. Levi has been a huge help while Darryl has been
gone getting up the feed for me. I can manage pretty well without help
but getting the feed is heavy and without him putting it in the
front-end loader bucket I don't think I would be doing as well.

Other than that excitement it's just been me and the dog.
Please keep Darryl and his men in your prayers he sure does need
them after the rough day he has had.
